Tomorrow I am undergoing a procedure to remove two bars place under my ribcage from five years ago.

As I mentioned in previous entry, the bars were placed there to fix my 'pectus excavatum' condition, which could have caused respiratory issues in the future. My surgery that day was done by a famous surgeon, who made a few small incisions on my sides, inserted some bars, and flipped them to push my rib cage outwards.

The recovery at the hospital was...not great. Let's leave it at that. Got better faster at home.

Luckily, this removal will be outpatient, though I may be too drowsy to report back immediately.

Wish me luck
